To maintain the highest level of security and in accordance with our insurance policies, we can only ship orders to the billing address provided during the checkout process. This policy is in place to protect both you, our valued customer, and Thunder Tactical against potential losses or theft during the shipping process.

Why Do We Ship to the Billing Address Only?

Security: Shipping to the billing address helps prevent unauthorized changes to your order's shipping location. This additional layer of security reduces the risk of potential fraud.
Insurance Coverage: Our shipping insurance policies require us to deliver orders to the billing address to ensure that claims for loss or theft are valid and can be processed promptly. In the event of a claim, deviations from this policy may result in a denial of coverage.

Shipping Restrictions Overview

Due to federal legislation and additional state and local restrictions, Thundertactical.com does not ship certain firearm parts and/or accessories to specific states and locales as outlined below. These restrictions primarily involve unserialized 80% lower receivers and other firearm receiver blanks. Please review the details for your state before placing an order.

Restricted States and Details:

Hawaii: Assembly of firearms without a serial number, as well as ownership or acquisition of firearm parts for this purpose, is banned (HB2744 HD1 SD2, HB1733).
New Jersey: The marketing and sale of untraceable weapons, or "ghost guns," are prohibited (N.J.S.A. 2C:39-9g).
New York: Possession, manufacture, sale, and transportation of defined assault weapons are criminalized.
Connecticut: Sale, shipment, and ownership of un-serialized 80% lower receivers are prohibited (Substitute House Bill No. 7219 Public Act No. 19-6).
Washington: Sale and shipment of undetectable and/or untraceable unfinished lower receivers are prohibited (HB 1739).
Rhode Island: Ban on 3D-printed firearms and 80% lower receivers (RI S2004).
Delaware, District of Columbia, and Illinois: Restrictions on specific firearm parts and accessories apply.
Colorado - Denver County: Restrictions on specific firearm parts and accessories apply.
Massachusetts: No sales to the state of Massachusetts.
Philadelphia, PA: No sales of 80% Lowers.
California: Restrictions under CA Assembly Bill 1057 apply, restricting sales of "firearm precursor parts" to those under 21 years of age.

As of November 18, 2024, several U.S. states have enacted laws prohibiting or restricting the sale, transfer, or possession of 80% lower receivers, also known as "unfinished frames or receivers." These states include:

California: Requires serialization and background checks for 80% lowers.

Colorado: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Connecticut: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Delaware: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

District of Columbia: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Hawaii: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Illinois: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Maryland: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Massachusetts: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

New Jersey: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

New York: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Oregon:Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Puerto Rico: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Pennsylvania: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Rhode Island: Bans the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Washington: Prohibits the sale and possession of unserialized firearms and unfinished frames or receivers.

Local Laws and Compliance

Local firearms laws are subject to frequent changes. Customers are responsible for verifying compliance with local laws before ordering. Orders placed from restricted areas will be canceled without exception, regardless of the purchaser's status, including military, law enforcement, or federal firearm licensees.
